ShipRush Web
ShipRush is a web based shipping platform.
Overview
When Acctivate is integrated with your ShipRush account, sales orders can be imported into ShipRush where a shipment can be created. The shipment information is then exported from ShipRush back to Acctivate.
Setup
The ShipRush integration is initiated from within ShipRush and a connection is made to Acctivate's Microsoft SQL Server database through the ShipRush Desktop Toolbox.

It is recommended that you refer to the ShipRush documentation for setting up a SQL Web Store for the most up to date instructions. Below is an overview of the setup process and Acctivate specific steps.
- In a web browser, login to your ShipRush account.
- In ShipRush, open the Settings page.
- Select Add Web Store.
- Use the Select a Web Store menu to select SQL and click Next.
- Use the link to download the ShipRush Toolbox. Note, the toolbox must be downloaded on the computer where the Acctivate database resides.
- After installing the ShipRush Toolbox, click I HAVE MY CONNECTION STRING!.
- Enter the SQL Web Store Information:
- Web Store Name: Acctivate
- Workstation: Enter the computer name where the Acctivate database and ShipRush Toolbox are installed.
- Connection Type: Select OleDb as the connection type.
- Connection String: Example:
Provider=sqloledb;Data Source=SERVER\Acctivate;Initial Catalog=Acctivate$Demo;User Id=sa;Password=Password123;
Replace the "Source" with the Acctivate SQL Server, "Catalog" with the Acctivate database name, and "Password" with the Acctivate database password (contact support if you need assistance). - Select SQL: Enter the following SQL Statement exactly as listed below:
SELECT o.OrderNumber AS RecordID, COALESCE(NULLIF(o.CompanyName, ''),NULLIF(o.CustomerID, '')) AS CompanyName, COALESCE(NULLIF(o.ShipToAttn,''),NULLIF(o.ContactName,'')) AS ContactName, o.ShipToAddress2 AS Address1, o.ShipToAddress3 AS Address2, o.ShipToAddress4 AS Address3, o.ShipToCity AS City, o.ShipToState AS State, o.ShipToZip AS ZIP, o.ShipToCountry AS Country, o.ContactPhoneNumber AS Phone, o.ContactEmailAddress AS EMail, o.OrderNumber AS Reference, o.CarrierService AS Service FROM OrdersAvailableToShip AS o WHERE o.OrderNumber = 'SEARCHPARAM'
- Update SQL: Enter the following SQL Statement exactly as listed below
INSERT INTO tbOrderPackagesText ( CarrierService, BillingOption, OrderNumber, ShippingCharge, TrackingNumber, Weight, ShipmentDate) VALUES ('%ShippingService%', 'Prepaid', '%RecordID%', '%ShippingCharges%', '%TrackingNumber%', %ShippingWeight%, GETDATE())
- Click Continue.
- You can now return back to the Shipping screen.
Usage
To import orders into ShipRush, perform the following steps:
- Login to your ShipRush account.
- In the left panel, click on Acctivate.
- Enter an Acctivate order number in the Search bar and press Enter. The order information will import into ShipRush.
- Adjust or add any necessary information, then click the Ship button to print a label.
When you print the shipping labels, ShipRush will write back the shipment information to Acctivate's database. This information will be visible on the Packages tab of the Enter Sales Order window.
