    ⭐ = Features and improvements

    Attachments

    • ⭐ Users can now attach files directly to a lot or serial number, viewable from the lot/serial record and the Product list, when Acctivate is integrated with Microsoft OneDrive or SharePoint.

    Business Activity

    • ⭐ Improve the performance of opening and saving Business Activities.
    • Fix an issue where prices on the Material tab of the Business Activity window did not update when the quantity was changed and quantity price breaks existed.

    Customer

    • ⭐ Add the product description as an optional column in the Price tab of the Customer window.
    • ⭐ Improve the default sort order of the Transactions tab so recent activity is easier to find. Transactions are now organized by typical workflow order (Sales Quotes, then Orders, then Invoices, then Payments), with a secondary sort by entry/creation date.
    • ⭐ In the Account Info card of the Customers list, display the Parent Customer for customer jobs / sub-customers.
    • ⭐ Text on the Account tab of the Customer window can now be selected and copied.
    • ⭐ In the Ship To tab of the Customer window, long location notes will have their row height limited, but hovering over the note will show the full note as a tool-tip.
    • ⭐ Add a Job / Sub-customer entry to the Create menu in the Customer list. Selecting it opens the Edit Customer window with the parent customer already set, ready for you to enter the Job / Sub-customer name.
    • Fix an issue in QuickBooks Online companies where the Tax Exemption Reason "Other" was displayed as "Unknown 99" on the Customer window.

    Email

    • Implement a fix for the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" that could occur when trying to send emails from Acctivate.

    General

    • Fix the error "Unhandled Exception....Cannot access a disposed object. Object name: 'TopLevelAttachmentsSignalControl'." that would occur when closing Acctivate.
    • Fix the unhandled exception error "Object does not match target type." that could occur when closing certain window within Acctivate.
    • Fix an issue where some timestamps in the read-only screens of a QuickBooks Online integrated company were displayed in UTC times rather than local times.

    Import/Export

    • ⭐ Add an "Update customer data from profiles" option to the Shopify and WooCommerce web store integrations configured in the Services section of the Configuration Manager. When this option is enabled, Acctivate will update the customer's data (e.g., addresses) from the web store customer profile associated with each imported order.

    Installation

    • Fix an issue where the Acctivate Installer may hang with a blank window if the Windows Installer registry is corrupted.

    Inventory

    • ⭐ Add support for enabling and tracking lot/serial date fields: Production date, Packaging date, Best by date, Sell by date, and Expiration date. Enabled date fields appear in the Lot/Serial drop-downs and as optional columns in certain grids.
    • ⭐ Display the inbound transfer quantity on the Inventory tab of the Product window. The "To" warehouse quantities on a draft Inventory Transfer are now considered in the Reorder formula so that Acctivate does not suggest reordering inventory when a transfer is inbound.
    • Fix an issue where a product could not be removed from a warehouse if voided inventory transactions existed for that warehouse. The user would receive the message "The product and warehouse is referenced by open inventory transactions," despite the transaction being voided.
    • Add a max row height to the rows in the Details tab of the Inventory Transactions window. Rows will no longer expand to show all lines of long notes; instead, a tooltip displays the full contents of the Note field.

    Mobile

    • ⭐ Add a "Require locations" option to the Order Picking section of Mobile configuration. When enabled, orders picked on a mobile device must have locations recorded on every detail. This option is only available when the "Track Locations" option is enabled, and is unavailable when "Use Picklists" is enabled.
    • ⭐ Acctivate Mobile now supports capturing various lot/serial dates from GS1-encoded barcodes. The supported GS1 Date Application Identifiers are 11 (Production date), 13 (Packaging date), 15 (Best before date), 16 (Sell by date), and 17 (Expiration date).
    • ⭐ Acctivate Mobile now supports pre-selected lot / serial numbers in Picklist Picking. Lot or serial numbers selected in the Picklist window will be displayed in Acctivate Mobile Picklist picking with a quantity Picked and To pick; e.g., 0/6 Ea. The qty picked can be confirmed with a scan or by using the devices touchscreen interface.
    • ⭐ Acctivate Mobile now supports pre-selected lot / serial numbers in Sales Order Picking. Lot or serial numbers selected in the Enter Sales Order window will be displayed in Acctivate Mobile Order Picking with a quantity Picked and To pick; e.g., 0/6 Ea. The qty picked can be confirmed with a scan or by using the devices touchscreen interface.
    • Fix a cosmetic issue in the Location screen of Acctivate Mobile Inventory Counts where locations or lines might not display properly.

    Payment

    • Fix an issue where the Create Invoice window allowed processing a credit card for a non-US currency customer, causing the foreign currency amount to be charged as USD. Credit card processing is now blocked for customer sales in a currency other than USD.
    • Fix an issue where changing how a payment is applied could cause the the payment total to recalculate in the Enter Payment window.

    Product

    • ⭐ Product vendor prices in the Vendors tab of the Product list and the Product tab of the Vendors list now display the full stored decimal places.
    • ⭐ Improve the query performance of the Product window's Insights tab.
    • ⭐ Text on the Inventory tab of the Product List window can now be selected and copied.
    • ⭐ Text on the Product tab of the Product List window can now be selected and copied.
    • ⭐ Add an optional "On PO" column to the BOM tab of the Product window. The On PO column displays the component's outstanding quantity on Purchase Orders.
    • ⭐ In QuickBooks Online integrated companies, the expense account lookup window in the Purchase Invoice window now filters to show only expense accounts. QuickBooks Online only allows bills to use Expense accounts; using other account types could result in an error about the account type used. The Look for box on the Sales view of the Product's Transactions tab will now search the Customer column.
    • Fix an issue where the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." would occur trying to open the Edit Lot / Serial Number window from the Lot / Serial tab of the Products list.
    • Fix the error "Cannot cast DBNull.Value to type 'System.Guid'" which would occur in the Product window if a Kit product has not been stocked in any warehouses and the Kit has cost based pricing configured.

    Purchasing

    • ⭐ In the Create Reorders, Create Drop Ship POs, and Create Special Order POs windows, display an icon in the grid if there are Product Purchase Order Notes or Product Vendor Notes. In the right pane, the notes will be displayed.
    • ⭐ In the Purchasing list window's footer, the Received amount is now hidden for Drop Ship Purchase Orders since they cannot be received. Also, Outstanding amount is hidden once a Purchase Order is marked as Completed or Cancelled.
    • ⭐ The Purchase Order list now indicates whether the displayed "Delivery Due" reflects the vendor's Requested date or Promised date.
    • ⭐ Add support for voiding a Purchase Invoice from the read-only Purchase Invoice window.
    • ⭐ In QuickBooks Online integrated companies, the expense account lookup window in the Purchase Invoice window now filters to show only expense accounts. QuickBooks Online only allows bills to use Expense accounts; using other account types could result in an error about the account type used.
    • Fix an issue where a non-standard line on a Purchase Order did not default the PO line's Expense Account field to the COGS account associated with the non-standard product class, as defined in the Inventory Options section of Configuration Management.
    • Fix an issue in the Enter Purchase Order window where rounded prices may have places beyond two decimals truncated.

    Reports

    • ⭐ Add the Acctivate Query window which can be used to generate and save tabular styles reports using Acctivate data sources.

    Sales Order

    • ⭐ The Sales list now displays both the Lot / Serial quantity and weight for catch weight products. Previously only the quantity was displayed.
    • ⭐ In the Sales and Invoice lists, display quantities and units in the display unit rather than the stocking unit. Also, add additional columns to the Sales and Invoice window's column picker.
    • ⭐ Imported sales orders now display the origin type and ID in the Info section of the Sales list. For example, a web store imported from Shopify will now show "Imported from Web Store Shopify".
    • ⭐ Add a sales order Action to automatically assign lot/serial numbers to sales order lines that need them based on a First-Expired, First-Out (FEFO) priority.
    • On sales orders calculated by a third-party tax integration (Avalara, QuickBooks Online), the tax code field on the sales order details will be locked, and the Customer tax code will be hidden.
    • Fix an out of memory error that occurred when opening the Generate #s window on the Enter Sales Order window.
    • Lock sales order records in the database when a Picklist is being created to prevent a situation where another user creates a duplicate picklist for the same sales order.
    • Fix an issue where cost + percent / amount based price rules for a Price Category required a unit of measure. Now, a unit of measure can be supplied, or it can be left blank. When no unit is provided, the price rule applies to sales order units which can be converted to the stocking unit of the products in the Price Category. When a unit is provided, the rule only applies to products in that Price Category whose sales order unit can be converted to the selected unit.
    • Return a user-friendly message when Acctivate is integrated with the QuickBooks Online Automated Sales Tax feature and a customer's tax exemption is set to "Industrial production / manufacturing." Previously, the error "...No enum constant..." was returned. The error appears to originate from the Intuit API; however, we have improved our message to provide the Acctivate user with a workaround.

    Synchronization

    • ⭐ Add support for mapping Acctivate Purchase Invoice fields to custom fields on a Bill in QuickBooks Online.
    • ⭐ Integrate with the QuickBooks Online's GraphQL Custom Field API which supports more than three custom fields, a restriction of the previous API.
    • Fix the scenario that would cause the journal sync warning "CreateInventoryJournals ignoring balance adjustment transaction with NULL transaction date".
    • Change how Acctivate checks for merges when syncing with QuickBooks Online. This fixes an error where a customer merged into another customer in QuickBooks Online may result in the error "Names element id {someID} not found".

    User Interface

    • Add a max row height to the rows in the Transactions tab of the Product window. Rows will no longer expand to show all lines of long notes; instead, a tooltip displays the full contents of the Note field.
